If the auto ignition does not work after installing the battery, please follow the steps below to identify the issue:

1. Check the Battery Direction
Make sure the battery is installed with the correct polarity (positive and negative ends aligned properly). A reversed battery will prevent the ignition circuit from powering on.
2. Listen for a Clicking Sound
When you press the ignition button, listen carefully for a "clicking" or buzzing sound from the igniter.

If you hear the sound but no flame appears, the issue may be with the gas flow or igniter position.

If there is no sound at all, the wire connected to the back of the igniter may be loose. Check the connection and push the wire back in firmly if it appears loose.
3. Check the Igniter Pin Position
Ensure the tip of the igniter pin is aligned with the burner's gas port. If the pin is misaligned, the spark will not ignite the gas.

If the pin is off position, gently press it downward to move it closer to the burner. A small adjustment is often enough to restore proper ignition.
4. Check the Gas Flow
Make sure the propane tank valve is fully open and the hose is securely connected to both the tank and the stove. If gas cannot reach the burner, the flame will not ignite even if the spark is working properly.
⚠️ Important: Red Pressure Valve Must Be Closed When Connecting the Hose
Please pay special attention to this step:
Before connecting the hose to the propane tank, make sure the red pressure valve is in the CLOSED position.
If the red pressure valve is left open during connection, it may trigger the built-in gas leak protection device inside the hose. When activated, this device blocks gas flow and prevents the stove from igniting.
If the leak protection device has been triggered:

Disconnect the hose from the propane tank.

Locate the red pressure valve on the hose.

Gently tap the valve area a few times – you should feel a slight vibration from the spring inside. This helps reset the protection device.

Once reset, make sure the red pressure valve is closed.

Reconnect the hose securely to both the propane tank and the stove.
